Nearly made it to the start line.
Some days just don't work out the way they should. Had everything loaded in the
car, for an early start, got to the North roundabout in Stratford and had a
Police car turn out in front of me. Spent the next 25km looking at his tailgate.
A slower trip than normal.

Get to the golf club and start to get the buggy out ready to go. Got as far as
fitting the seat to the chassis when I ran into a problem. The rails that allow
the seat to move forward and backward on a ratchet would not line up. No matter
what I did including resorting to a hammer did not work. The tool I needed was
not in the little tool case that comes with the buggy it was back in the garage
at home. Nothing for it but to turn around disassemble the buggy and put it away
back in the car. Drive down to the starters hutch say goodbye to everybody, who
were commiserating with me, then drive the 25km back to home.

Back home I get to unload the buggy again. Figure out what is needed, get the
tool out, loosen four screws holding the seat tracks on, hey presto it fits on
first time. Tighten up the screws and its ready to go. Put that tool into the
buggy tool bag. I can now stop swearing.

What was really annoying is that I have been careful the last few days to ensure
that I would be fighting fit for todays round of golf. As the photo above shows
it was another beautiful day in Taradise and even the 50km drive to and from the
Golf Club was enjoyable.
But lets face it, I was pissed off at events, several hours later, still pissed
off with what happened.
Oh well, there will be other magical days for golf to come.
