HMS Exeter (CA-1933)
Back to Commonwealth Ships List
The last 4 County class sacrificed the torpedo tubes for a better secondary armament. The very new twin 4.5" was released in time for these ships to have their design altered to make use of the new weapons. The older ships having their single 4" replaced by twin 4" as they became available at their refit times.
Otherwise these ships followed the layout of the previous County class ships.
