Leading single seat fighter of the airforce, the HE-112 had evolved from the same specification that produced the Me-109. The model B had an uprated engine for better all round performance. Further enhancements were made through 1938-39 including a 3 blade propeller, better armament and extra fuel for better combat range. The Argentinians also produced a navalised version to go with their aircraft carrier.
